DYC operates a safe haven Center for youth ages 11 to 20.
Hours open
The Center is open during the high crime hours of 2pm – 10pm, the hours when youth are most vulnerable to criminal activity, victimization, and risky behavior.
Number served
The Center is the first point of contact between youth and DYC staff and serves approximately 2,000 youth each year.
Dorchester Youth Collaborative responds to the needs of low income urban youth with innovative programs that celebrate their creativity and unique value to the community.
